Yesterday never came
While waiting on it, tomorrow took its blame
Brokenhearted and misplaced
We search for love on hotmail and myspace
Our life is patterned
After things that make today open lattern
On earth He gave us the best Reverend
He keeps His doors open like 7 eleven
Well if you don't understand what I'm saying
Look at ya life and stop playing
With God
We consistently my make life hard
Never noticing in life that we need changes
Because of what happen yesterday never made today
arranges
Because we never took the time out
To understand what yesterday was about
We let it blow by
While sittin alone never taking time to see what makes
us cry
So again and again
It becomes memory like a friend
The heartaches, the pain,
and the misery, the shame
Don't do nothing but get deeper
Now with open wounds because we didn't consult the
Creator
The one who can make life better
He is that same dude yesterday, now, and then later
He is all of that in one time
But being use to being blind
Being lost for so long
Only heaven knows when we're weak that’s when He is
strong
I guess people take it as jive
We serve a risen Savior that’s alive
So my past doesn't even matter
Because what you use to know about me was just the
former
Phase on things that today won't ever see
Because I put faith in tomorrow so now I am free
From what yesterday did to me
I can open up and be
Something love on earth never taught
Something money has never bought
Get with Christ before it's too late
He'll love more than a fat kid love cake
If it ain't nothing I've learned
Is that your eyes will get burned
Trying to search through ya past
To figure out what will and what won't last
Yesterday is something you can never get back
So take a glance and stay on track
Yesterday is where history begins
Yesterday keeps talking but Today makes it end
Yesterday is the preparation for what tomorrow holds
Yesterday plus Today is two heavy loads
Choose just one and life might go faster
Because in life you can only serve one master
So yesterday's past
Is the stamina to make Today last
While waiting on yesterday tomorrow showed everything
That yesterday couldn't tell me because today I got
saved so I choose the faith that through Jesus Christ
I can do all things...

THIS POEM IS DEDICATED TO MY MOTHER

Suffer Deeply, crying out loud for help
Falling, slowly screaming
Wondering, what will I do
Jumping, and it's not for joy
Walking, and it's not for my health
Fighting, not because I'm mad
But Crying, only because I'm sad
Praying, not because I'm depressed
Leaning, but doesn't look like I'm falling
Wishing, not necessarily hoping
Begging, but I'm not needy
Searching, but I haven't found it
Looking, and still ain't gonna quit It's coming, but it hasn't came
Playing, and it's not a game I'm doing all these things
But sometimes life just doesn't bring THE ANSWER

Dear Lord, help me with this battle I fight,
Guide me lord, every day and every night.
Keep me safe and away from harm
Hold me tightly in your arms.
Remember the nights, every soul would pray
Thanking you for their blessings and life that day?
Asking if they'd die before they wake...
For you, Dear Lord, their souls to take.
Keeping my cool with all of my might
Knowing you will keep my load light.
Remembering you are my good luck charm
That I will always be in your arms.
Looking at your people all happy and gay
Knowing that tomorrow is another day.
My love for you is real, there's no way I would fake it
My life is what you and I together make it.
So for all of you who don't know
Open your hearts and feel the love flow.
Keep God "FIRST" in your life
And know everything will be all right.
For all of you who think your life is a mess
Seek the Lord and "MAY GOD BLESS."
